Vietnam 2024 Literary Retreat for writers new to AAL

The literary retreat fee includes two private manuscript sessions, attendance at the ten generative writing workshops led by Robin and Xu, participation in salons and readings, the welcome and farewell dinners. Optional city excursions are arranged for an additional charge. The program will be held at the Caravelle Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) from June 2 to 9. Your participation will only be confirmed once we receive your registration and payment. The retreat group is limited to 24 participants only, first come first serve. As part of your registration, please fill out this survey about your writing experience.

This fee does not include hotel accommodation, travel expenses and meals other than the scheduled ones. Participants must make their own travel arrangements. IMPORTANT NOTE:

Your manuscript (prose only, maximum 5,000 words) must be sent to us by no later than Sunday May 19, 2023. See the retreat webpage for details.

Any cancellations are subject to our normal terms & conditions.

If Authors at Large cancels the retreat due to international travel restrictions of any kind or for any other reason, your registration fee will be refunded in full.
