Marshall Moore is an American author, publisher, and academic based in southwestern England since 2020, after relocating from Asia where he lived for 15 years in Korea and Hong Kong. He has published seven novels and collections of short fiction, the most recent being Inhospitable (Camphor Press, 2018). His essays and short stories have appeared in The Southern Review, Asia Literary Review, Storgy, Litro, Quarterly Literary Review Singapore, The Barcelona Review, and many other journals and anthologies. He is also the co-editor of two academic collections on creative writing pedagogy and the publishing industry. Forthcoming books include a memoir titled I Wouldn’t Normally Do This Kind of Thing (Rebel Satori Press, 2022) and a third academic collection on the subject of creative practice (Bloomsbury, 2023). He holds a PhD in creative writing from Aberystwyth University in Wales, and is a course leader and senior lecturer at Falmouth University in Cornwall where he teaches creative writing and publishing. He is also the co-founder and publisher at Signal 8 Press.
